Media artist Zach Blas’ strange, wide-reaching installation Contra-Internet is a harsh critique of the dystopia that social media corporations lead us towards. Blas uses queer visual and activist cultures to imagine post-internet futures. The work is also another example of an attempt to bring queer virtual visual culture into a gallery space.
